LG Doubleplay lives up to its name with two screens
This is the Doubleplay LG, and honestly, I could not think of a better name. After all, what else can be called a smart phone with two screens?
Originally, it was the code name of the Flip II, but I guess he decided that the name was too sequel-ish. I've never seen a phone like this with a 320 x 480 HVGA principal, a secondary display and a QWERTY keyboard that is split down the middle of it. I'm going out on a limb and assume that both screens are touch.
Not much is known about this phone, and I guess it was just a matter of time before someone created a flip phone with two screens. I would have thought that the designer of this phone have been removed a full QWERTY keyboard, and have gone with a touch pad on the secondary display.
We know that the phone has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash back and a front camera front. We do not know the resolution of the one front, however.
The Doubleplay LG is expected to be released on November 2 at a price of $ 150 with contract. It seems that users will have to go through T-Mobile to get it, and that will be running some Android.
